Reconciling men to God,
and fathers to their children.
Team 5:18
A disciple-making ministry in Louisiana’s Rayburn Correctional Center
Who we are
Our mission is to reconcile man to God and parents to their children by establishing ministries and programs to that end. We do this by the mobilization and equipping of the Body of Christ for meaningful ministry opportunities with TEAM 5:18 and our partner organizations.
2 Corinthians 5:18
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation
Incarcerated men need help connecting with God
What we do
We offer in-person training, teaching, and coaching to men inside prison.
Incarcerated men need help reconnecting with their children
Our programs give men the tools they need to become the dad God designed them to be.
It’s never too late for any man to be reconciled to his children. We desire to give some of the most overlooked men in our community the opportunity to reconnect with their children.
You can read more about our efforts to train and equip men in our monthly newsletter.
Incarcerated men need your help
We’re inviting you to join God in what He is doing inside Rayburn Correctional Center.
About Us
In 1978 the ministry now called TEAM 5:18 Ministries was incorporated in Louisiana as Southeast Louisiana Youth for Christ / Campus Life. As the years and decades went by the ministry expanded to include prison work and mentoring for institutionalized children. As the ministry expanded the name was changed to TEAM 5:18 Ministries based on 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.
All that we do is designed to reconcile incarcerated men to their Heavenly father through grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone, and then to reconcile those men to their children as the Godly fathers God created them to be.
Through our prison revivals, A Day With Dad events, Leadership training workshops, and Malachi Dads and Celebrate Recovery classes we are seeing hundreds of men each year transformed into disciples of Christ and in many cases Godly fathers.( Please see this web sites “ministries” section for descriptions of each of those ministries.)
Our end goal is through evangelism, teaching, training, and equipping, is the Great Commission. Our desire is to see men transformed in to fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
